Yes! More familiar faces, this time in less familiar places. You may recall Tash & Seth from a charming engagement photo session out in the grungy Meatpacking district of New York, that included a lunch in Pastis and window-shopping in Christian Louboutin‘s eye candy of a boutique. Well, that West Village story was just the beginning.
On July 19th we packed our car with photo and video equipment and made our way from Manhattan through multiple traffic jams to the beautiful Long Island. Bride’s house in Westbury – a beautiful sample of colonial New England architecture, was filled with puppies of all shapes and sizes running wild among friends and family members. So many characters, so many details.. the day looked to be very promising.
First thing we notice in the house are our photographs from the engagement session we shot earlier – printed out and aptly framed, ready to be used as sign-in books at the wedding.

Natasha, the bride, was a wedding photographer’s dream – very playful and classy at the same time, a beautiful girl with a perfect Hollywood smile. The groom was relaxed and funny, and willing to do any of our sometimes outrageous photo demands.
The wedding took place at the Allegria Hotel and Spa, one of the newer wedding venues on Long Beach in Long Island, with a stunning oceanfront tent for the ceremonies. As photographers we typically do not get to enjoy the food at the wedding to the full extent – whatever we eat is usually in a hurry, on the go, and most of the time is deprived of any taste. This was not the case at the Allegria – the hotel’s gourmet chef Todd Jacobs created the food that was outstanding – believe me, I’m a foodie.
