One of the most touching, soulful, and most complex events we ever had to shoot. All the way in green and wonderful Georgia, about two hours north of Atlanta, in a lovely mountain town called Yong Harris a slew of guests partook in this three day wedding weekend, where New Yorkers mixed in with the locals, and enjoyed the sweet and spicy flavors of southern cooking paired with famous southern hospitality. Just before the Labor Day weekend we packed our bags, and flew to Atlanta, GA, then drove to Young Harris, GA singing “Georgia on My Mind”, to photograph this three day destination wedding of Sarah Swanson, the owner os Swanson Skincare & Bobby Brown, an illustrious surgeon and educator from New York.
Our bride in her custom made Vera Wang wedding dress and uber elegant Manolo Blahnik shoes, posing in her father’s antique automobile just before the ceremony of her dream-come-true wedding.
The wedding was a huge success, complete with elaborate toasts, line dancing, and a sugar candy machine.
