This highly anticipated night was set at at the Ukrainian Institute of America, located in a gorgeous Fletcher-Sinclair historical mansion on the corner of 79th Street and 5th Avenue in New York, just across from the Central park. The Institute serves both a center for the Ukrainian-American community and as America’s “Window on Ukraine” hosting art exhibits, concerts, film screenings, poetry readings, literary evenings, children’s programs, lectures, symposia and educationl programs, all open to the public.
Sponsored by Mishka Foundation, Depesha Magazine, Mari Vanna Restaurant, Beluga Vodka and a handful of other patrons, the evening featured Zac Posen Collection, “Beauty Within, paintings and photographs by various artists. All the proceeds from the show went to Svyato-Voznesensky orphanage in Ukraine.
